I am WWPS - Peggy Payne
Walla Walla High School Agricultural Science teacher Peggy Payne is highlighted in the I AM WWPS video series. With 18 years of dedicated service to the school district, Peggy brings a wealth of experience and passion to the classroom.
Originally from New Jersey, Peggy earned her Ph.D. in forest genetics from Michigan State University. She spent a decade working for Boise Cascade before realizing her true calling was in teaching and education.
Beyond the classroom, Peggy is deeply connected to the Walla Walla community. She is married to James Payne, the director of the Fort Walla Walla Museum, and together they have two grown daughters.
